Our Congregation
Christ Lutheran Church is more than just a congregation – we are a family. We started from humble beginnings in a historic building in Denver’s Cole neighborhood. After much work and planning from each and every one of our members, we were blessed to celebrate the opening of a remodeled Church home in Summer 2014.
Our Church family reflects the beautiful diversity present in Denver; to meet all the needs of our diverse congregation, we proudly offer services in both English and Spanish. In addition to weekly Sunday services in both languages, Christ Lutheran Church hosts a number of activities for adults and children alike, including bible studies, cook-offs, Sunday school, and family-friendly holiday events.
If you are looking for a warm, welcoming place to find rest for your soul in Christ, we invite you to join us at Christ Lutheran Church today.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me ~ Matthew 25:35
About WELS
Christ Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). WELS is comprised of 1,300 congregations and close to half a million members across North America.
More than 150 years ago, three pastors in Wisconsin joined their German-concentrated congregations to create one Church family. Today, more than half of WELS members still reside in Wisconsin, but diverse congregations can now also be found across the United States and Canada.
As Lutherans, we hold dear to the truth of the Gospel in Word and Sacrament as did Martin Luther, the German monk who’s ideas sparked the Protestant Reformation during the 16th Century.
